Indeed Albena. You are onto it. Until a ‘network of chains’ is possible via interoperability we will just have siloed applications. Eg if Health Records (or the pointers to them) are held on different chains it becomes difficult for providers and clinicians across Healthcare systems to aggregate the data or communicate with one another. I am working through the potential model to integrate Blockchains with existing Central Databases but there are major standardisation issues to sort first. Like the early days of the internet we needed the technical layers sorted out to get real business application working.
